Injury exceptions
Evidence and rulings for season-ending roster absences
Terminal absence review
These players disappeared after establishing a regular role and did not return before the season ended. That pattern alone cannot distinguish injury, release, temporary cover or import rotation. It is excluded from public lost-game totals unless a ruling says injury.
Confirmed departures and post-deadline injuries are automatic. A confirmed Elite Prospects outgoing transaction close to the first missed game is accepted as a departure. If an established player's first missed game is after that season's long-term Injured Reserve and transfer deadline, the terminal spell is accepted as a deadline-derived injury because roster replacement was no longer available. An explicit versioned ruling remains authoritative and can override either automatic decision.
